Baron Cyrus Von Heuchlert (b. 2298 GBE) was born and raised in the city of the Grand Emperor’s domain, Heuchlerstadt, during the große Eroberung era. His parents, Baron Astaroth Von Heuchler (2076 - 2333 GBE) & Baroness Lilith von Macht (2084 - 2327 GBE), were integral parts to the Grand Emperor’s holy crusade to unite the world of V’Rak.
This exhibition presents a curated selection of archaeological finds, biological specimens, and military trophies from the campaigns of Baron Cyrus von Heuchler (2346 - 2367 GBE).
The late Baron and Baroness Astaroth and Lilith were pivotal in the creation and mass implementation of M.A.W. (aka Magically Augmented Weapons) into the Grand Emperor’s army. Once of age, Cyrus found himself drawn to the path of the sword just like his father. During his two decades in the military, he rose to the position of Oberst. During this time, he and his forces were deployed 3 times to serve the Grand Emperor’s visions of a unified V’Rak.
The first was the monumental Underdark Campaign: a 3-year siege campaign to secure the trade routes between the silver and gold mines of the Underdark to the empire (248 - 251 GBE). Baron Cyrus Von Heuchlert was tasked with diplomatically discussing trade agreements with the Baleful Queen Amina Clementia of the Underdark. But the Baleful Queen would not accept any plan offered, and as such, the Baron was left with little to no choice but to gain the blessing of the Grand Emperor and start the siege upon her kingdom. Using the combined strength of the M.A.W. enhanced battalions of Baron Cyrus Von Heuchler’s army and his genius-level military strategies, Baron Cyrus Von Heuchlert was able to secure the capital city of Nocturne and capture the Baleful Queen.
The second campaign was the quelling of the Fateborn Rebellion in the capital city of Mechanicsburg (2355 - 2358 GBE). This uprising was led by a fanatical priest who claimed to be the incarnation of the Fate Goddess, denouncing the Grand Emperor’s divine mandate and subsequently his right to the throne of V’Rak. While his silver tongue swayed many, the Head Priestess of the Empire denounced him as a false prophet. In response, the Grand Emperor commanded Cyrus to crush the rebellion in the capital. Baron Cyrus Von Heuchler used this opportunity to show the Grand Emperor his might and willingness to leave no stone unturned. Cyrus and his men were able to capture or slay every single one of the zealots in religious mercy, including the heretic himself, who gave himself up peacefully in exchange for the lives of the rest of his congregation. After the heretics’ public execution, the Grand Emperor gave Cyrus his current position.
The most recent campaign was the assimilation of the Elemental Islands of the Golden Sea into the Empire (2359 - 2367 GBE). This seven-and-a-half-year campaign culminated in the forced assimilation of the region, transforming its main settlement into the Empire’s key nautical port—a status it retains to this day. These islands are inhabited by the “Genasi”, a humanoid race descended from primordial unions between mortals and elemental beings of the outer planes. After several years of war, their leader, Ali’i Poi, was taken prisoner after the successful raid on the Castle of the Crashing Wave. After this, the remaining parts of the kingdom fell in rapid succession as their chain of command was broken. After assimilation into the empire, the Genasi people have seen economic prosperity like never before, and are en route to becoming a favorite part of the Grand Emperor’s vast vision.
